Chundong "CD" Wang is a seasoned technology leader and entrepreneur with 15+ years of experience building AI-driven platforms and real-time data systems. He is the CTO and Co-founder of Otto, an AI travel agent designed to make business travel seamless and stress-free. Otto recently secured a $6M seed round led by Madrona Venture Labs, with backing from Concur founder Steve Singh.
Before launching Otto, CD held leadership roles at CloudKitchens, Uber, Snap Inc., and Microsoft. At CloudKitchens, he built a real-time data platform processing billions of order events and led the Revenue Recapture product that became one of the fastest growing SaaS product. At Uber, he led the Airport Engineering teams, optimizing airport Uber experiences across 700+ airports worldwide using real-time forecasting and machine learning.
CD has spent his career designing big data systems, AI-powered tools, and SaaS platforms that solve complex problems. With Otto, he’s focused on using AI and automation to transform how business travelers book, manage, and experience their trips—bringing the intelligence of a personal travel assistant to every journey.
